One (1) Seven (7) Year Warranty & Guarantee

VENDAPIN L.L.C. warrantees and guarantees to the registered purchaser of VENDAPIN equipment that this equipment manufactured by VENDAPIN L.L.C., hereafter called the unit is free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1), two (2), three (3), or to a maximum of up to seven (7) years depending on the purchase price starting from date of purchase on new units and 90 days on remanufactured units, and renewal for up to seven (7) years provided the equipment is maintained by a VENDAPIN continuous extended service agreement during this extended warranty and guarantee period. 

The model 5596 coin-op has a two (2) year warranty excluding; coin changer, bill acceptor and credit card reader-writer.  The coin changers, bill acceptors and credit card reader-writers are warranted directly by the manufacturers.

If any such defect is discovered within the initial warranty and guarantee period, VENDAPIN will repair or replace the unit free of charge with an identical model or equipment comparable with features and capabilities.  This Certificate of Warranty and Guarantee is contingent to verification of the defect or malfunction and upon prepaid delivery of the unit to VENDAPIN by parcel post, common carrier, UPS, or other commercial means.  This warranty and guarantee does not apply to normal wear, to tampering or to alterations resulting in cracked or broken components, or to units damaged by excessive heat, cold, government changes in coins or bill specifications or moisture, or Acts of God.  Returns to the customer are via prepaid UPS or Fed Ex ground service or other alternate shipping method at the discretion of VENDAPIN L.L.C.

Two (2) Year Coin Changer & Bill Acceptor Extended Warranty & Guarantee  

Manufacturers of the Coinco coin changer, printer, credit card acceptor or bill acceptor typically have an extended two (2) year warranty and guarantee.  This warranty and guarantee is handled directly by the manufacturer and not by VENDAPIN L.L.C.  Coin changers and bill acceptors are not warranted or guaranteed by VENDAPIN L.L.C. after the 1st year.  Consult your warranty papers or the manufacturers technical support group of your coin changer or bill acceptor.

Any components or sub-components from other manufacturers sold & shipped separately from our company and not part of our finished machines are warranted directly by the manufacturer.

Factory Maintenance & Parts Service Agreement

Factory Contracts

For less critical equipment requirements the customer receives the security of a maintenance agreement and the savings of low direct factory repair prices. VENDAPIN L.L.C 's average in-house repair is two - ten days plus shipping. VENDAPIN L.L.C provides return shipment.

Factory Warranty & Extended Warranty and Guarantee

The manufacturer's warranty and guarantee may be extended at the time of the equipment purchase or within the 1st year after delivery to a maximum of seven (7) years. This provides the customer with the security of maintenance protection for up to seven (7) years. VENDAPIN's average in-house repair is usually within 2 weeks plus shipping.  Typical extended warranty and guarantee service agreement percentage is 15% per year or 25% on a two year plan of the original retail purchase price.  Maintenance agreements do not cover acts of God or the Government.

 

VENDAPIN LLC products are warranted 100% for one (1) year including the coin changer, bill acceptor & credit card reader.  After the 1st year, the coin changer, bill acceptor or credit card reader has an extended warranty offered directly by the manufacturer.  Coin changers, bill acceptors and credit card readers are sent directly to the specific manufacturer for extended warranty repairs or exchange.  In the event after the 1st year the coin changer, bill acceptor or credit card reader is sent to VENDAPIN, "repairs are chargeable for parts and labor".

Credit Terms

Automatic credit terms are extended to our customer of net 15 days of 10 percent of the previous average purchases over the last 12 months.  These credit terms to any customer can be revoked at any time without notice by the Director of Finance of VENDAPIN L.L.C.

 

Return Authorization Requests:

            In general, Return Authorizations will be considered for the following only:

1.      Warranty Items

2.      Repair and Return Items (non-warranty parts, accessories, machines, etc)

3.      Shipping Damaged Units

4.      Other (Usually limited to items received in error) shipments of items returned for credit MUST include a copy of the invoice or packing slip in order to receive credit, exchange or a refund.

You may return for credit in the original packing subject to inspection within 30 days of receipt of any merchandise which you ordered in error or which upon receipt, you decided that you did not want to keep.  However after 30 days there will be a 20% restocking fee incurred against the credit you may receive.  Freight charges are not credited or refunded. 

NOTE: Returns or requests for refunds will not be accepted after 45 days.

Replacement Parts

Factory Exchange Contract Agreement in which VENDAPIN L.L.C maintains a new and refurbished Spares Pool to provide overnight shipment of a replacement unit. This program is designed for clients and applications that cannot afford to be without their equipment for more than one business day.   The only cost is the shipping charges for UPS overnight service for customers that have the annual or bi-annual service agreement.  

 

Customers without a service agreement can order replacement parts.  These new replacement parts are not for exchange for a warranty part.  Any replacement part that is not needed can be returned for full credit or refund except the shipping charges during the initial 30 days of shipment.  The part returned for credit or refund must be in the original carton.

 

Recently we have added Raptor CPU & Expansion control boards for the IPSI, XCP and other competitive or now obsolete coin-op or debit card readers.  We would like to bring to your attention a wonderful program that VENDAPIN currently offers.  We believe that it will go a long way in assisting our customers that have older XCP or IPSI technology.

We have a trade/swap program that allows your customers that are experiencing problems with their Raptor board sets to send us the old board and we will promptly send them out a replacement Raptor board or send in the XCP/IPSI model 5512/5513/5521/5527 machine for an upgrade. 

 

A complete upgrade kit price which includes one (1) hour labor is available for the Raptor board set, power supply, harnesses, etc for the older "5512/5513/5521/5812 Coin-op's known as the 12 Series" to the "5596 Series Raptor II Powered Series".  This price is based on a working functional machine.  Additional labor is charged per hour.  VENDAPIN L.L.C. does not repair the older "12 Series CPU or "12 Series Expansion Boards.  VENDAPIN offers an upgrade of the older "12 Series CPU & Expansion Board, power supply and interface harness to the current "Raptor Series".

As you're aware many of the units that have been in the field for years start to develop electronic difficulties when the hardware itself is still in great shape.  The program that we are explaining was designed with those accounts in mind.

Many times our customers do not have the financial resources to replace or upgrade their system but would like to keep their current system functional for as long as possible.

 Further example after the initial one year (1) warranty would be a replacement exchange or repair of the received CECB4 controller board for a flat price of $75.00 + the shipping charges.

Time & Materials (T&M)

Factory or Telephone Maintenance provided outside of normal contract coverage, or services not included in a maintenance contract or services provided to non-contract customers, or services provided on an "as needed" basis billed at a minimum hourly rate of $85.00 + parts subject to change without notice.   Hourly labor is a minimum of $85.00 for the 1st hour.  Additional time in excess of the 1st hour of labor is rounded to the nearest quarter hour plus parts.

 

Software and firmware updates

 

A minimum charge of a flat $35.00 applies for updates to firmware in bill acceptors, coin changers, credit card readers and all controller boards.   Example is for the new bills or coins that are released that require the bill acceptor or coin changer to be updated with a new firmware program.   The customer must send in their bill acceptor to have the flash memory updated or the EPROM updated.   The return is prepaid by VENDAPIN via UPS or Fed Ex ground service or other shipping method at the discretion of VENDAPIN L.L.C.   The customer may purchase a bill acceptor PC link cable for $50.00 to allow the new bill acceptor firmware to be loaded directly by the customer.

Shipping

Customer pays shipping to VENDAPIN L.L.C. or manufacturer. Return UPS ground shipping is paid by VENDAPIN L.L.C or the manufacturer. A Return Authorization (RA) number is required to return items for warranty or factory repair. This number should be displayed on the outside of the shipping carton.

  • Remedial Maintenance of older XCP or IPSI products, including parts and labor

  • Preventive Maintenance of XCP or IPSI products

  • Mandatory Software & Firmware Revisions of XCP or IPSI products

  • Mandatory Engineering Change Orders of XCP or IPSI products

  • Coin Changer or Bill Acceptor Verification Testing of single vend coin changers or XCP & IPSI model 5508/5509 coin changers.

  • Government changes in coins and bills for Coin Changer or Bill Acceptor causing non-acceptance.

Product Exclusions

The following products are not covered by a VENDAPIN L.L.C Exchange & Factory Service Maintenance Agreement or Repair Services:

  • Older XCP or IPSI model 3300, 3315, 3320, 3330, 5800, 5801, 5802,5500, 5500ES, 5501, 5505, 5508 and 5509, Datatron I & II models and Non Raptor Board Version 5020's, 5024 products.   We will accept for repair and replace "12 Series 5812 or 5512 Products with new Raptor Boards, New Power Supply & New Interface Harness".  Power supplies, bill acceptors and coin changers can be purchased for these older products.
