Another example is time vending at a truck stop with 50 - 150 trucks that require time vending for; internet time, heating and air-conditioning, showers, laundry or other time vended applications.  

The trucker goes to the front counter in the truck stop to pay for time for vending of either heat or air-conditioning...or his shower or favorite game.   The clerk sends a command from the point of sale for the number of hours and minutes that the trucker desires to that unique IP address over a wireless modem.  At the truck location, the trucker has the option to use his credit card to add time if he/she so desires without going to the front counter in the truck stop. 

An unlimited number of locations can be accessed via wireless communications from the front counter payment station.  Also ideal for Adult Entertainment Centers, Car Washes, Air & Vacuum and other multiple location time vending applications.

The CTD-202/203 is being displayed for the 1st time at the KioskCom Exhibition at the Mandalay Bay Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 16th and 17th.

An example is the capability of dispensing custom DVD or CD Jewel Cases with a thickness of 8 - 10 millimeters.

A total of eight (8) vend prices for copies are standard with the Model 5596 series plus another 8 vend prices for network printing.  A simple serial cable from the 5896 or the 5596 coin-op series plugs into the Canon imageRUNNER interface kit.  This Canon serial interface kit allows communications between the Canon imageRUNNER MFP and the 5596 series coin-ops.  Note: Check with the Authorized Canon Dealer for the part number for the specific model Canon device serial interface.   Part names & numbers do change from time to time and can vary by imageRUNNER device.   

The model 5896, 5596XL & 5596SL coin-op serial interface developed using Canon's interface guidelines connects to the Canon imageRUNNER family of MFP color copiers.  Also our VendaKiosk 5596 with touch screen PC is also available for those customers desiring walk up copies and network prints requiring a print release station.

The options for the model 5596XL or 5596SL coin-op series are; bill acceptor, large capacity coin changer, and a credit card wireless or Ethernet package plus the I/O required serial cable. 

Included with the model 5896, 5596XL & 5596SL is a management software program on a CD that allows remote or direct access via an IP address over the internet for reading meters, changing vend prices, etc. 

The price for the model 5596XL includes the mounting base plate and decals. The price for the 5596SL requires a pedestal stand option.  The 5596 series has a two (2) year Warranty. 

Canon models supported are: Color imageRUNNER C5185 / C5185i / C4580 / C4580i / C4080 / C4080i / C3480 / C3480i / C3080 / C3080i / C2550 / C3380 / C3380i / C2880 / C2880i / C5180 / C5180i.  See the Canon publication for firmware settings.  All other Canon models use the basic copy counter 4 pin interface kit.
