Walk Up Prints or Network Prints...
now the Library can have both on one machine with up to 16 different
prices, accepting coins, bills and credit cards! An exclusive
VENDAPIN product.
News in the library market is the news about the Palm Beach County Public Library System in West Palm Beach, Florida ( http://www.pbclibrary.org ) that selected the VENDAPIN Model 5513 Print Cost Recovery Vending Controller to solve the problem of both walk up copies and network printing. The model 5513C accepts Visa, Master Card & American Express credit cards, Coins and $1-$5-$10 & $20 bills to vend eight (8) different vend price selected prints from a new Toshiba Studio 351C color multifunction copier. The Toshiba machine CPU provides 8 different signals for the color or black/white & for the four (4) different paper trays.
The model 5513C provides both walk up & network black and white copies plus also color copies. The model 5513C coin-op is connected via a USB "Plug N' Play" interface (Part Number: 960100-001) to the Toshiba e-Copy PC which is connected via Ethernet to 50 PC work stations in the Library network system. Alternate "Commercial Heavy Duty Vending" configuration is with the VENDAPIN VendaKiosk Model 5513C with a 10.4 inch touch screen PC. The VendaKiosk 5513 is available with or without the credit card option.
Palm Beach County Library patrons can pay "Self-Service" for network printed documents or walkup copies with coins, bills or Visa, Master Card, American Express credit cards at the "Toshiba Print Release Station that is sent over from any of the fifty (50) Ethernet Work Stations.
The Library Print Station Vending Control Model 5500 Series is now available with the optional "Wireless" e-Port Visa, Master Card & American Express Credit Card Terminal.
Library Patrons can insert coins, $1-$5-$10 & $20 bill and receive change...or insert their Visa, Master Card or American Express Credit Card. The transaction is handled in "real time" to ensure only valid credit cards are accepted.
Funds are electronically deposited directly into the Library's bank account daily. Internet look up of the transaction accounts allow daily or hourly record keeping of the sales made with credit cards.
Existing older XCP model 5512 series dating back to 1986 can be
upgraded to accept the e-Port Credit Card Terminal. Call today to
