Exciting news with the introduction of a
"True USB Powered CTD-202 Card/Ticket
Dispenser". Now it is possible to plug into a PC USB
port from 1 - 120 CTD-202 Card/Ticket Dispensers without a special
interface board! September, 2005 VENDAPIN L.L.C. started shipping
a limited number of
"Developer Sample CTD-202/CTD-203 Card Dispensers with an API" to
major Original Equipment Manufacturers for software interfacing to their
Kiosk XP Powered Card/Ticket Vending Machines. The

Serial CTD-203 Card Dispensers will be released for full distribution on

announced the introduction of its CTD-202 USB compliant card dispenser
for kiosk card dispenser applications. It is now possible to have from 1
– 120 USB devices in a kiosk equipped with a PC running Microsoft
XP
Card dispensing mechanisms produced previously by VENDAPIN and its
competitors, were only available in either pulse mode (CTD-200) or
serial RS-232 (CTD-203). However, experience and market research
revealed the demand among kiosk developers and manufacturers was for a
communications technology that would allow for virtually unlimited
expansion, and a card dispenser that could keep up with Microsoft's
ever-evolving Windows operating systems. Click

VENDAPIN supplies CTD-202 USB compliant card dispensers with free
Tester Software developed by Robert J. Rademacher, son of Darrell &
Diane Rademacher, to provide kiosk software developers a platform to
build their kiosk application.
An optional “VendaCard” software package is available for kiosk
developers who prefer to purchase a plug & play card vending software
package. The optional VendaCard software package supports off-the-shelf
multiple-port USB modules, USB bill acceptors, USB CTD-202 card
dispensers, USB touch screens, USB Targus keypad hardware, VENDAPIN's
USB spiral gear motor dispensers, and a VENDAPIN USB compliant coin
payout hopper.
Combined software and hardware packages supplied by VENDAPIN LLC
enables kiosk developers and manufacturers to cut development time
and produce a very low cost kiosk PC engine with plug & play software

With its introduction, VENDAPIN has solved the problem
of accounting for copies and masters consumed by printer-duplicators in
“per-click” programs operated by RISO®
and DUPLO®
dealers.
The Datatron III V4.13-1 keypad access controller
allows RISO® models
RZ390, RZ310, and RZ590
printer-duplicators to control and account for the number of masters and
prints with dual-meter PIN accounts. Each dual-meter PIN account (up to
1000 accounts) has programmable lockouts to control the number of
masters & prints allowed.
Datatron III V4.14-1 keypad access controllers come
complete with a serial cable and a management software CD, which allows
dual-meter PIN account records to be downloaded into standard database
programs. An optional, portable, plain-paper printer is also available
for printing reports. Datatron III V4.13-1 controllers may also be
polled remotely through the use of either a direct PC connection or an
optional modem.
VENDAPIN also offers VendaPrint® cost recovery
software for RISO® and DUPLO® printer-duplicators connected to a
network. One PC print release station, running VendaPrint®, can control
many printer-duplicators and copiers from one location. Other
VENDAPIN Vending Control Products can be
used in lieu of the Datatron III for automated cost recovery.
When combined with Datatron III V4.13-1
controllers, this network access control solution solves many school
districts’ out-of-control copier and printer costs.

The US Patent Pending USB
VCB-2 Controller Board has arrived. VENDAPIN L.L.C. has released
for shipments our VCB-2 USB controller board that allows older
technology analog TTL (pulse) devices to operate with touch screen Kiosk
XP operating systems that require USB devices.
Multiple VCB-2 controller boards can
be connected to virtually any combination of banknote/coupon dispensers,
card dispensers, spiral gear motors or to coin payout hoppers as shown

An example is the CoinCo Mark IV or
Hemisphere West 24 volt DC bulk coin payout hopper.
VCB-2 USB Controller Board operates
from your PC power supply of +5/+12 volts or an optional power supply
can be plugged in for power. It is now possible to have USB
powered card dispensers, change payout hoppers, coupon or banknote
dispensers, spiral gear motors all operating from your USB ports.
Current USB specifications allow from 1 - 120 USB ports to be controlled
with XP.
