over the top exit rollers. The card dispenser is positioned above the $1, $5, $10, $20, $50 & $100 bank note acceptor with a 500 note removable stacker. Magnetic stripe PIN cards with double security preprinted PIN Code 39 barcode data are scanned and instantly activated. The system has dual Pentium computers with Ethernet connectivity to the magnetic stripe card readers of each washer and dryer. The system is running in tandem to assure reliable operation. |

The secret to the instant PIN activation of a plastic or paper card
is the laser scan of the barcode data image
printed on the surface of the card.
This same concept has been done with 4 or 8 of the CTD-200 series card dispensers by using a single laser barcode reader positioned in the opening where the card drops from the multiple card or ticket dispensers.
