Datatron III PIN Keypad Entry Access Model 5882/5885 or Model 5881 Magnetic Stripe Card Reader Controller for Access Control Tracking of Copiers, Print Vending of networked PC's....or Virtually any Product or Operation.

  • Support up to 2,000 users with firmware V4.10 magnetic stripe PIN cards or firmware V4.11-1 PIN keypad entry.
  • Alternate firmware V4.13-1 for 1,000 keypad entry PIN users with "Dual Meters" for two (2) copy/print sizes such as Masters and Prints for Duplicator Machines or Copiers & Printers. 
  • A lost card or compromised keypad PIN can be deleted via the control card with keypad.
  • A lost Datatron Card can be invalidated and replaced by a higher level VendaCard, meanwhile, the card's original total count remains unchanged.
  • The total copy count of each user card can be checked via the LCD of the Datatron III Controller. The report can also be printed out to a serial printer. (Serial printer is an optional device)
  • Two price capability for two products is a standard feature on the firmware V4.10 & V4.11.
  • The card can also be used as an ID card. (The card is compatible with a access control system and time attendance) 
  • Data in the controller will not be lost due to power failure.
  • The counter increments for two (2) different products or cycles.  The VendaCards are programmable from 0.01~99.99 respectively via a control card.
  • The maximum number of vends or counts  for each PIN Keypad or Card can be set up to 6 digits (999999).
  • The total counting audit made with the Datatron III count can be checked via a management control card.
  • This controller operates with any model or make type of vending machine  which has both a counter signal output and a interlock. switch. (or an on/off switch)  Print Vending on a network is available with "VendaPrint" software.   "Click for Modem option."
  • Export of ASCII data files for import into your favorite Windows database program such as Visual Basic 6.0
