USING VENDACOM 5.04 AND LATER RELEASES

APRIL 13, 2002

  1. Set just the Toggle ‘FUTURE USE 1’ to enable the table lookup..
  2. Look at the table under menu ‘BILL PAYOUT LIMITS’. The top row (left to right) represents the lookup entry numbers for bill input hex values ‘81h’, ‘82h’, 83h’, ‘84h’. The second row starts at ‘85h’, etc.
  3. The decimal numbers 1 to 12 can be entered into the table (and 252 to 255 as described below. These numbers represent the following bill values:

Please note that the Decimal Numbers are on the far left column below:

  1. $1 (THESE 1ST FOLLOWING TWELVE (12) VALUES CAN NOT BE CHANGED)
  2. $2
  3. $5
  4. $10
  5. $20
  6. $50
  7. $100
  8. $500
  9. $1000
  10. $200
  11. $25
  12. $30
(THESE NEXT FOLLOWING FOUR (4) VALUES CAN  BE CHANGED TO ANY VALUE DESIRED.)
  1. value set in Parallel BILL1 (these four values can be changed at any time through VendaCom)
  2. value set in Parallel BILL2
  3. value set in Parallel BILL3
  4. value set in Parallel BILL4

For example, if the Bill Payout table is set to 1,3,5,6,8 and the rest to 0, then the bills would be $1,$5,$20,$50,$500. Any table entry set to zero will cause a bill reject. This allows, for example, setting a maximum of 3 bill values (instead of 7) as used in a country as an example for Thailand.

When coins are not being used the bill values displayed on the LCD can optionally be multiplied by 1000. Use the Toggle labeled ‘EXTRA ZERO W/DISPLAY’. This toggle should be labeled ‘Multiply bills by 1000’ in future versions of VendaCom.
