Please take note that the VCB-1 Vending Machine Controller Board must match the set of exit optical sensors.  Early version VCB-1 boards had a voltage dropping resistor in the optical sensor harness.  Later versions of the VCB-1 board has a 330 ohm resistor on the board.   If the later card dispenser is connected to an early version VCB-1 board without the 330 ohm resistor...the optical sensors will be destroyed!
