The Model 5008T Keypad eight (8) Station Time Vendor accepts $1-$5-$10 & $20 US or Foreign currency plus optional Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover credit cards, then prints out a receipt or ticket on a slip of thermal paper.
In the TimeVend firmware mode, the customer selects the station from 1 - 8 on the keypad, then inserts any combination of cash or an optional credit card for the amount of time required.
For only a receipt for a ticket for a sale such as a meal plan or parking, the time is reduced to 1 second using our PulseVend version of firmware. A thermal slip ticket receipt is printed for the 1 - 8 ticket selections.
Credit cards are swiped and approved, the specific channel for the vended station is selected using key pad button (1-8). Every pressed key will add the time, at the same time will add the total credit card purchase balance. Once after the patron has pressed the "Complete Key" on Edge credit card reader, the total sale is then transmitted wireless to USA Technologies Credit Card Processing Location.
The time and cash value is displayed on the 2x20 illuminated LCD. Additional time value can be added at anytime.
Once the amount of time is selected for 1 of the 8 time vend stations, the signal is locked into place with 1 of the eight 10 amp contact relays.
The sale amount is printed on a thermal receipt printer slip of paper. The time selected is used to open or access a door, control time of a series of electrical outlets or other time vended applications
