The optional 2x20 character large back lit super twist display is programmable to scroll or flash a user defined message of up to 240 characters (6 two line screens). The display will provide the user with a variety of custom status messages, (i.e. "Dispenser 1 EMPTY" when a CTD-200 card/ticket dispenser is depleted) and will also indicate the patron’s escrow total. A complete character set including foreign characters is provided to create a message in virtually any language. Two languages can actually be displayed at the same time.

The 5002 control board is completely accountable for all transactions with reset and non-reset meters for individual dispensers and cash value inputs. Meters can be read via the back lit LCD, printer, or downloaded to a Windows 95/98/2K/XP PC with the "Free" VendaCom polling or direct connect software, or downloaded to a hand held data-collector. Password protection prevents unauthorized users from changing any of the parameters or resettable meters.
